Dorong Pendanaan ke Startup, Bank Andalkan Anak Usaha di Bidang Modal Ventura

JAKARTA. Potensi ekonomi digital ASEAN diperkirakan meningkat dari yang semula US$ 1 triliun menjadi US$ 2 triliun pada 2030. Untuk itu Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto belum lama ini meminta perbankan untuk menyalurkan pinjaman atau pendanaan kepada perusahaan-perusahaan rintisan atau startup di tanah air.

Di sisi lain, meski tidak secara langsung langsung memberikan fasilitas pinjaman kepada sektor ini, perbankan memberikan dukungannya lewat perusahaan modal ventura yang dimilikinya.

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) misalnya, yang menyalurkan pendanaan terhadap sektor startup melalui anak usahanya PT Central Capital Ventura (CCV). EVP Secretary and Corporate Communication BCA Hera F Haryn merinci Agustus 2023, CCV telah melakukan investasi kepada 27 perusahaan dengan total nilai investasi mencapai Rp 350 miliar.

Menurut Hera, situasi perekonomian global terkini yang dipicu oleh konflik geopolitik, tren kenaikan suku bunga, serta resesi ekonomi pada sejumlah negara turut mempengaruhi gairah investasi ke startup.

“Jika sebelumnya valuasi kerap menjadi parameter utama bagi para investor untuk menanamkan modal di startup, kini faktor keberlanjutan, dampak, serta profitabilitas menjadi pertimbangan utama investor,” kata Hera kepada Kontan, Selasa (17/10).

Pergeseran paramater tersebut dinilai akan membawa pengaruh yang positif untuk ekosistem dan investor. Alhasil, iklim ekosistem startup akan didorong menjadi lebih sehat dan berdampak pada dunia usaha. 

Ke depan, untuk mendorong penyaluran pembiayaan ke startup, BCA melalui CCV akan senantiasa mengamati dinamika terjadi di pasar, sekaligus menjajaki peluang investasi pada sektor-sektor digital potensial, terutama yang mendukung bisnis inti BCA. 

“Di tengah era percepatan digitalisasi, kami akan senantiasa terbuka dengan kolaborasi dengan mitra fintech atau startup strategis guna memperluas ekosistem pelayanan kepada nasabah,” kata Hera.

Selain melakukan investasi penyertaan modal kepada perusahaan fintech dan perusahaan fintech-enabler, CCV juga mengeksplorasi potensi embedded fintech dari perusahaan startup non-fintech. Embedded fintech adalah penawaran produk finansial oleh startup seperti edu-tech, health tech, digitilisasi UMKM, dan sebagainya.

Senada, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk juga terus memberikan dukungan pinjaman melalui pendanaan kepada startup di Indonesia melalui modal venturanya Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI).  Direktur Investasi MCI Dennis Pratistha mengatakan hingga saat ini pihaknya telah menyalurkan dana kepada 23 perusahaan startup dari berbagai bidang. 

Beberapa di antaranya di bidang payment solution seperti Yokke dan PTEN, bidang e-wallet yaitu LinkAja, bidang healthcare yaitu FitAja, bidang commerce/fintech enabler yaitu GoTo dan Bukalapak, bidang digital signature yaitu PrivyID, bidang open banking yaitu AyoConnect, bidang data compression yaitu Kecilin, bidang agritech yaitu Agriaku dan Crowde.

Selanjutnya ada di bidang ERP SaaS yaitu Mekari, bidang B2B commerce yaitu Sinbad, bidang insurtech yaitu Qoala, bidang P2P lending yaitu Investree, Koinworks, dan Amartha, bidang MSME Tech Solution yaitu iSeller, Agriaku, bidang Biodegradable yaitu Greenhope, bidang edutech yaitu Cakap, serta bidang aquatech yaitu Delos. 

“Untuk membantu menjembatani Bank Mandiri dengan startups, MCI aktif untuk mengeksplorasi sinergi antara startups dengan Mandiri Group,” kata Dennis kepada Kontan, Selasa (17/10).

Lebih lanjut, Dennis mengatakan dukungan Bank Mandiri kepada startups tidak hanya sebatas pendanaan modal ventura saja melalui MCI. Di sisi lain, Bank Mandiri juga aktif untuk membangun kerja sama baru bersama startups dari berbagai macam produk financing seperti invoice financing dan loan channeling.
