Aceh – PTPN I bekerjasama dengan Pemerintah Provinsi Aceh melakukan diskusi peran PTPN I dalam rangka menghadapi bencana, El Nino dan Dunia Pendidikan di Aceh pada hari kamis tanggal 10 Agustus 2023 di Kantor Bappeda Aceh.
Pemerintah Provinsi Aceh melalui Bappeda memohon agar setiap Badan Usaha yang bergerak di Provinsi Aceh dapat mengalokasikan Anggaran TJSL/CSR nya untuk membantu pemenuhan kebutuhan alat/sarana dalam rangka menghadapi bencana, El Nino dan Dunia Pendidikan di Aceh yang telah di usul oleh SKPA yang menangani bidang masing-masing di daerah.
Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) memprediksi puncak El Nino terjadi di bulan Agustus-September 2023. Dampak dari fenomena alam ini adalah kekeringan, sehingga sangat rentan terjadi Karhutla maupun banjir hidrometeorologi basah. Aceh sudah harus waspada dan siaga menghadapi fenomena El Nino tersebut, apalagi kejadian kebakaran hutan dan lahan (karhutla) di Aceh menjadi yang terbanyak di Indonesia, dan menduduki peringkat pertama hingga Juni 2023.
PTPN I melalui program TJSL telah menyalurkan bantuan berupa 5 (lima) unit mesin
pompa Summersible untuk penanganan bencana El Nino, serah terima bantuan dilaksanakan pada hari Senin, 30 Oktober 2023 di halaman kantor Bappeda Aceh.
Adapun yang mewakili PTPN I pada kegiatan ini ialah Nurzaitun Staf Sub Bag TJSL, dan kegiatan ini juga dihadiri oleh Satuan Kerja Perangkat Aceh serta perwakilan masing-masing perusahaan yang wilayah kerjanya tersebar di Provinsi Aceh.
Direktur PTPN I Ahmad Gusmar Harahap melalui Kasubbag Komunikasi Perusahaan Muhammad Febriansyah (Febri) yang juga sebagai penanggung jawab program TJSL/CSR PTPN I menyampaikan, pada prinsipnya pihak PTPN I sangat mendukung penuh niat baik dari Pemerintah Provinsi Aceh demi kemaslahatan masyarakat banyak.
