Menandai berakhirnya produksi di tahun 2023, hari ini PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim) sebagai produsen urea terbesar di Asia Tenggara, melaksanakan acara tutup tahun produksi dengan mengadakan acara pengantongan terakhir di area gudang Pupuk Kaltim di Bontang, Kalimantan Timur.
Menutup tahun 2023, Pupuk Kaltim telah berhasil mencapai nilai total produksi amonia sebanyak 2,73 juta ton, urea yang mencapai 3,28 juta ton, dan NPK sebesar 156 ribu ton.
