Dari pertemuan itu kami mulai dekat,” kata Dadang, Rabu (27/9).
Alih-alih mengajak pacaran, Dadang mendatangi orang tua Mevina, untuk meminta izin menjalin hubungan lebih serius. “Perjalanan kami mau menikah itu tidak mudah dikarenakan keluarga kami ada yang tidak setuju. Namun, saya tidak menyerah mencoba menjelaskan langsung kepada kedua orang tuanya. Alhasil orang tuanya merestui,” ucap Dadang.
Kehidupan rumah tangga baru dimulai, Dadang DVN bekerja menopang ekonomi keluarga, sementara Mevina menjadi di rumah.
Namun, kondisi ekonomi memaksa mereka untuk mencari penghasilan tambahan. Kala itu, sang istri meminta modal Rp 3 juta untuk berbisnis skincare. “Saya upayakan cari modal dan mulai. Namun, produknya tidak laku singkat cerita percobaan bisnis gagal,” tutur Dadang. Dua bulan berselang, bisnis itu dimulai kembali dengan modal yang lebih besar senilai Rp 5 juta dan kembali gagal. Setelah dua kali percobaan bisnisnya gagal semua, Dadang mengingatkan agar istri fokus mengurus anak dan rumah saja. Pada 2017 jadi pertanda awal mula bisnis skincare Daviena Skincare tumbuh. Mevina meminta izin memulai kembali bisnis skincare dan berjanji jika gagal tidak akan melanjutkan lagi.
“Ternyata tiga bulan kemudian dia bercerita kalau jualan skincarenya sudah mulai terjual lumayan. Saya saat itu tidak percaya langsung. Saya lihat memang benar terjual dengan rata-rata tiga paket perhari dan makin hari semakin banyak,” ungkap Dadang. Daviena Skincare semakin hari makin tumbuh, hingga 2018 Dadang dan istri memutuskan untuk membeli sebidang tanah dan tempat untuk berjualan secara profesional.
“Pada 2018 kami menabung buat beli tanah dan tempat buat jualan. Makin lama makin banyak orderannya. 2019, kami sudah mulai bisa menjual 500 paket per hari,” papar Dadang. Akhirnya, Dadang dan istri memanen hasil kerja kerasnya dengan memiliki rumah pribadi bak istana dari omzet Daviena Skincare yang mereka tabung. “Kami Memakai desainer atau arsitek dengan budget Rp 15 miliar untuk bangunan saja,” sebut Dadang. omzet dari bisnis skincare Dadang semakin tumbuh besar dan pesat.
