Jatim Golf Open Tournament 2023 yang diinisiasi oleh Kamar Dagang dan Industri (Kadin) Jawa Timur dan Pengurus Provinsi Persatuan Golf Indonesia (PGI) Jawa Timur tuntas digelar pada hari ini, Minggu (8/10/2023) di Taman Dayu Golf untuk Turnamen Golf Junior.
Winner Champion Boys dan berhak memboyong Piala bergilir Gubernur Jawa Timur adalah Jordan Indra Marcello, siswa kelas X Sekolah Cita Hati Senior West Campus Surabaya. Sedangkan Winner Champion Girls dan berhak mendapatkan Piala bergilir Gubernur Jawa Timur adalah Milani Adisty, Siswi SMAN 8 kelas X Tangerang Selatan.
Untuk turnamen golf amatir telah terlaksana dengan sukses pada Sabtu (7/10/2023) dan menghasilkan beberapa pemenang terpilih dengan dua kategori. Untuk kategori Best Gross Overall dan berhak memboyong Piala Bergilir Ketua DPD RI dan Piala Bergilir Gubernur Jatim dimenangkan oleh Ketut Bina. Sedangkan kategori Best Nett Overall dimenangkan oleh Wendy.
Ketua Umum Kadin Jatim Adik Dwi Putranto saat penyerahan hadiah mengapresiasi kolaborasi apik yang terbangun di event “Jatim Golf Open Tournament 2023” kali ini. Ia menegaskan bahwa Jatim sangat kental dengan kegotongroyongan-nya.
“Ini tidak mungkin terlaksana dengan baik kalau tanpa dukungan seluruh pihak, sponsor banyak, teman-teman peserta juga banyak. Jadi beginilah kondisi Jatim Pak Ketua, gotongroyongnya, kolaborasinya sangat luar biasa,” ujar Adik Dwi Putranto di depan Ketua Ketua Umum Pengurus Besar Persatuan Golf Indonesia (PB PGI) Japto Soelistyo Soerjosumarno.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Adik juga menekankan pentingnya standarisasi kompetensi pelatih. Menurutnya, hal ini sama dengan industri. Ketika perusahaan menginginkan memiliki karyawan yang mempunyai produktifitas tinggi yang mampu meningkatkan daya saing industri tersebut, maka industri harus memiliki pelatih tempat kerja yang tersertifikasi.
“Sama dengan golf juga seperti itu, ketika pelatih itu memiliki kompetensi teknis pelatih yang sudah berstandar, maka akan bisa membuat kurikulum. Hari pertama, hari kedua hingga selesai. Ada targetkan prestasi apa yang akan dicapai. Ini PR bagi Pak Rizal Ketua PGI. Tetapi Kadin akan support. Jadi standar kompetensi pelatih akan menghasilkan kurikulum pelatihan. Jadi ini harus dilatih secepatnya,” kata Adik.
Sertifikasi ini sebenarnya sudah mulai dilakukan di dunia olah raga. Saat ini Kadin bersama dengan Komite Olah Raga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Jatim juga tengah menyiapkan kompetensi tukang urut olah raga.
“Ini sudah ada SKKNI-nya, sudah kita susun, kita buat standar kompetensinya sehingga nantinya semua tukang urut memiliki standar,” ungkap Adik.
Ketua Umum PB PGI Japto Soelistyo Soerjosumarno juga menandaskan pentingnya pembinaan dan ia mengimbau agar score card yang dihasilkan pada Jatim “Golf Open Tournament 2023” dijadikan tiket digital dan akan masuk ke perangkingan, jangan hanya digunakan sebagai penentu pemberian hadiah.
“Setiap ada turnamen banyak yang datang memburu piala, memburu hadiah, door prize sehingga kami dari PB PGI ingin imbau Pengprov Jatim score card hari ini jangan hanya dipakai sebagai lucky draw atau door prize. Hasil nilai yang tadi dimainkan atlet akan dijadikan digital ticket sehingga ketika digital ticket ini keluar, akan berlaku di seluruh dunia,” katanya.
Ia juga berpesan agar golf tidak hanya menjadi hobi saja. Dengan adanya rutinitas turnamen, diharapkan mampu menghasilkan atlet yang terbaik dalam bentuk pembinaan.
“Saya juga sempat melihat atlet junior dan peningkatannya sangat luar biasa. Jarang sekali amatir kita bisa main under. Jangankan amatir, pro kita saja setiap ada turnamen internasional, entah Indonesia open atau lainnya, tidak pernah bisa main under. Tetapi saat Indonesia Open yang terakhir, yang masuk di 10 besar dengan 11 under adalah atlet Jatim, seorang amatir bukan pro,” ujar Japto.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, Kepala Dinas Pemuda dan Olah Raga Pemprov Jatim Mohammad Ali Kuncoro juga menyampaikan harapannya kepada Ketua PGI Jatim M Rizal yang baru dilantik agar mampu meningkatkan prestasi golf Jatim. Blue print pembinaan atlet golf harus segera dibuat dan terkonsep.
“Harapan saya prestasi yang dibangun ini adalah prestasi yang berjenjang. Jadi prestasi ini dibangun melalui pembinaan. Sebagai pengurus baru harus bisa menghadirkan dua spektrum yang baru. Pertama bisa melakukan sesuatu yang tidak bisa dilakukan oleh pengurus lama. Kedua harus mampu menemukan novelty baru sehingga golf ke depan bisa semakin cetar dan melahirkan prestasi yang premium,” ungkap Ali Kuncoro.
Ia menandaskan, bahwa olah raga golf lain dari olah raga yang lain, karena baginya, dalam golf satu lubang punya sejuta cerita. “Olah raga golf ini tujuannya memang tidak hanya olah raga, tidak saja berprestasi tetapi banyak sekali kepentingan yang bisa masuk di dalamnya. Selain kesehatan, juga bisa melakukan lobi, bicara industri, bisa bicara masalah karier, intinya semua ada di olah raga golf,” ujarnya.
Untuk itu, ia berharap kepengurusan PGI baru ini juga mempu menemukan formulasi agar olah raga ini tidak terkesan melangit yang hanya bisa dijangkau oleh orang kaya. “Olah raga golf ini kan cukup mahal cukup premium, saya berharap di bawah kepemimpinan yang baru nanti ada formula yang epic sehingga olah raga ini semakin memasyarakat sehingga tidak hanya menjadi milik orang-orang yang punya duwit,” pungkasnya.
