Hangzhou, September 2023 – Keberagaman budaya Indonesia disajikan kontingen Indonesia pada acara opening ceremony Asian Games 2022 Hangzhou di National Stadium Hangzhou, Kota Hangzhou, China, Sabtu (23/9) malam.
Perwakilan atlet, ofisial dari cabang olahraga Renang, voli indoor, hockey, modern pentathlon, wushu, taekwondo, anggar, judo, rowing, tennis, skateboard dan tinju serta tim Chef de Mission (CdM) ikut ambil bagian dalam defile upacara pembukaan.
Kontingen Tim Indonesia dipimpin Jadi Rajagukguk selaku Vice CdM, ditemani Nandhira Mauriskha, atlet wushu dan Kapten Timnas Voli Indoor putra Hernanda Zulfie yang pembawa sangsaka bendera Merah Putih.
“Kebetulan Pak Bas selaku CdM baru bisa bergabung dengan tim mulai tanggal 24, jadi sehari setelah pembukaan. Sebab itu, saya sebagai Vice CdM yang menggantikan tugas beliau untuk memimping Kontingen Tim Indonesia di pembukaan,” kata Jadi.
Dalam defile upacara pembukaan tersebut, pembawa bendera, Nandhira mengenakan baju kurung adat Betawi berwarna kuning dibalut kerudung berwarna orange yang melambangkan optimisme untuk pencapaian prestasi terbaiknya di Asian Games 2022 Hangzhou.
Nandhira, atlet wushu kelahiran Jakarta, 4 Januari 1999 itu merupakan adik dari salah satu legenda wushu tanah air, Ahmad Hulaefi. Nandhira berhasil meraih dua medali emas saat tampil di Pekan Olahraga Mahasiswa se-dunia atau Universiade.
Selain itu, Nandhira juga merupakan peraih medali perak di SEA Games Vietnam 2021 lalu di nomor Women’s Taolu Jianshu. Nandhira juga berhasil menorehkan prestasi di ajang ASEAN Wushu Festival 2021.
Sedangkan Hernanda Zulfi memakai baju adat Rote, pulau di ujung paling selatan Indonesia yang masuk dalam wilayah Nusa Tenggara Timur. Ia menggunakan jas putih tertutup yang bawahannya merupakan kain tenun dan topi tradisional khas Rote yang disebut Ti’i Langga.
Hernanda lahir 27 Januari 1997. Memiliki tinggi badan 197 cm, pemain kelahiran Kota Batam yang berposisi sebagai middle blocker ini turut membawa Tim voli Indonesia meraih medali emas di SEA Games 2019, 2021 dan 2023 saat di Kamboja lalu.
“Pakaian adat adalah busana yang menjadi simbol identitas dan kekayaan budaya suatu daerah dan juga kekayaan Indonesia sekaligus simbol dari Bhineka Tunggal Ika yang di dalamnya ada nilai-nilai sportivitas, solidaritas dan kejujuran. Sudah sepatutnya kita turut memperkenalkan kepada dunia keberagaman Indonesia melalui momentum Asian Games ini,” kata Jadi.
Dalam defile, Jadi menggunakan pakaian adat Sumatera Utara khas Batak Toba yang terbuat dari kain ulos atau kain tenun tradisional mulai dari atas sampai bawah. Jadi juga mengenakan tutup kepala yang disebut bulang-bulang, selendang ulos serta Tongkat Panaluan yang menjadi tongkat sakti suku Batak Toba.
“Ulos yang digunakan dalam pakaian adat Batak Toba ini memiliki makna sebagai wujud kesatuan hati untuk bisa mempersembahkan prestasi terbaik buat Merah Putih,” jelas Jadi.
Ikut dalam rombongan defile Deputi I Tim CdM, Jovinus Carolus Legawa, Deputi II Tim CdM Thomas Setiabudi Aden yang menggunakan pakaian adat dayak dari Kalimantan, Deputi III Tim CdM Dadang Rukmana mengenakan baju adat dari Jawa Barat juga anggota Tim CdM Andi Arini yang memakai pakaian adat Minang, Sumatera Barat lengkap dengan suntiangnya.
Selain itu, Hengky Silatang yang mewakili Komite Eksekutif Komite Olimpiade Indonesia juga ikut serta dengan memakai baju adat Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan.
