JAKARTA – Badan Pelaksana Otorita Labuan Bajo Flores (BPOLBF) menggelar Program Floratama Academy 2023.

Program ini merupakan rangkaian program inkubasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengusaha yang mencakup 13 bidang pariwisata dan 17 bidang ekonomi kreatif di Floratama (Flores, Alor, Lembata dan Bima) yang berbasis people (masyarakat), planet (lingkungan), dan prosperity (kesejahteraan).

Setelah melalui beberapa tahapan, kelas, dan pemberian materi bisnis selama kurang lebih lima bulan, para peserta yang terkurasi sebanyak 20 peserta telah sampai pada tahap Bootcamp Floratama Academy, yang diadakan di Luwansa Hotel, pada 25-26 September lalu.

Selanjutnya, 20 pelaku usaha yang terpilih setelah melewati tahapan Workshop, Mentoring dan  bootcamp.

Pengumuman Top 3 ini diadakan saat Gala Dinner FA yang diadakan pada Selasa (26/9) lalu di Luwansa Hotel.

Dalam sambutannya Direktur Utama BPOLBF, Shana Fatina menyampaikan produk ekraf yang dihasilkan para peserta pada hakikatnya tidak terpisahkan dari pariwisata itu sendiri.

Menurutnya, sebagai sebuah program yang diinisiasi dengan visi mengembangkan usaha di bidang parekraf ini, perlu partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat Labuan Bajo Flores, tidak hanya sebagai pekerja tapi sebagai pelaku utama dalam hal ini kewirausahaan.

“Satu hal yang kami lihat disini adalah Labuan Bajo Flores ini memiliki antusiasme Masyarakat yang luar biasa dan Ketika deberikan ruang mereka siap untuk mengambil peran dan siap berpartisipasi,” ujar Shana.

Floratama Academy bisa dijadikan komunitas untuk bisa saling mengenal satu sama lain, para pelaku usaha pariwisata juga bisa saling belajar tentang apa yang dibutuhkan di pasar, dan bagaiamana pasar membangun tren baru untuk diperkenalkan kepada wisatawan.

Tahun depan akan dibuatkan format yang berbeda dengan model festival dengan melibatkan seluruh alumni 448 pelaku UMKM.

“Mari kita sama–sama membentuk sebuah suplai atau rante pasok  dari ujung ke ujung sehingga memastikan produk Labuan Bajo Flores ini berkualitas, berdaya saing bisa dinikmati oleh wisatawan tentunya  menjadi duta wisata kita bukan hanya di Indonesia tapi juga di luar negeri,” ucap Shana Fatina.
