Surakarta, September 2023 – Menteri Perdagangan Zulkifli Hasan menjamin pasokan beras tersedia di pasar dengan harga terjangkau. Salah satunya dengan melakukan Operasi di berbagai wilayah untuk menjaga stabilitas harga dan pasokan beras bagi masyarakat. Hal ini ditegaskan Mendag Zulkifli Hasan saat memimpin Operasi Pasar Beras di Pasar Legi,Surakarta, Jawa Tengah pada Minggu (24/9). Hadir mendampingi Mendag pada kegiatan ini Wakil Walikota Surakarta Teguh Prakosa, Kepala Dinas Perdagangan Kota Surakarta Heru Sunardi, dan Kepala Dinas Pertanian, Ketahanan Pangan, dan Perikanan Kota Surakarta Aryo Widyandoko. “Pemerintah berusaha keras, jangan sampai rakyat susah karena kenaikan harga beras. Untuk itu, Pemerintah terus melakukan Operasi Pasar,” kata Mendag Zulkifli Hasan. Mendag Zulkifli Hasan menyampaikan, Pemerintah memberikan Bantuan Pangan berupa beras kepada 21,3 juta Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) masing-masing sebanyak 10 kg. Selain itu, masyarakat juga dapat membeli beras melalui program Stabilisasi Pasokan dan Harga Pangan (SPHP) Beras yang disediakan oleh Perum Bulog dengan harga eceran tertinggi (HET) Rp10.900/kg untuk wilayah I (termasuk wilayah Jawa). “Pemerintah telah memberikan Bantuan Pangan Beras dan melaksanakan program SPHP Beras Medium, mudah-mudahan harga beras tidak naik lagi dan berangsur turun. Masyarakat juga dapat membeli beras yang disediakan Perum Bulog sesuai dengan harga yang telah ditentukan Pemerintah,” lanjut Mendag Zulkifli Hasan. Sebelumya, Mendag Zulkifli Hasan telah memimpin Pasar Murah dan Operasi Pasar beras di Kab. Mimika, Papua Tengah, Kab. Sumba Barat dan Kab. Sumba Barat Daya di Nusa Tenggara Timur; Kota Jambi; serta Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan. Pada kegiatan hari ini Mendag Zulkifli Hasan juga melakukan pemantauan harga dan ketersediaan pasokan barang kebutuhan pokok (bapok) di Pasar Legi. Menurutnya, harga bapok di Pasar Legi sangat terjangkau dan pasokannya cukup. “Harga bapok, khususnya di Pasar Legi cukup murah dan terjangkau. Harga beras sudah tidak naik. Pemerintah hadir untuk rakyat,” ujar Mendag Zulkifli Hasan.
