Sido Muncul Hadirkan Festival Kuliner dan Jamu Favorit 7 Presiden RI, Gandeng Kopi Semawis

PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk menggelar Festival Kuliner dan Jamu Kesukaan 7 Presiden RI di Pasar Semawis, Semarang, Jawa Tengah, mulai Jumat (29/9/2023) hingga Minggu (1/10/2023). Adapun festival tersebut merupakan buah kerja sama antara Sido Muncul dengan Komunitas Pencinta Semarang untuk Pariwisata (Kopi Semawis).

Direktur Sido Muncul Irwan Hidayat mengatakan, Festival Kuliner dan Jamu Kesukaan 7 Presiden RI merupakan inisiatif dari Ketua Kopi Semawis Harjanto Halim untuk mendongkrak sektor pariwisata di Semarang. “Kami menyambut baik inisiasi (festival) ini karena ada potensi (pariwisata) di Kota Lama Pecinan dan Kampung Melayu di Semarang,” kata Irwan. Ia pun menyempatkan diri untuk berkeliling dan mencicipi sejumlah kuliner di Festival Kuliner dan Jamu Kesukaan 7 Presiden RI. “Mau saya cicipi untuk menghormati para presiden,” imbuhnya.

Sementara itu, Harjanto Halim menuturkan bahwa festival tersebut dapat menjadi ajang untuk memperkenalkan selera kuliner para presiden Indonesia. “(Festival) ini membuat masyarakat bisa tahu kalau makanan kesukaan presiden (Indonesia) ternyata sangat merakyat, murah, tapi memuaskan,” tuturnya. Untuk mengetahui kuliner favorit para presiden Indonesia, Harjanto melakukan sejumlah riset mendalam, mulai dari internet hingga lewat rekannya yang pernah berinteraksi dengan presiden. Sebagai informasi, Festival Kuliner dan Jamu Kesukaan 7 Presiden RI menghadirkan 7 stan kuliner, yakni stan Bung Karno, Soeharto, BJ Habibie, Gus Dur, Megawati, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), dan Jokowi. Kuliner yang dihadirkan pun beragam, mulai nasi pecel, sayur lodeh, nasi goreng, tahu dan tempe bacem, hingga sate kere. Semarang sebagai pintu masuk wisata Pada kesempatan sama, Irwan menyampaikan bahwa Kota Semarang berpotensi menjadi pintu masuk wisatawan. Pasalnya, kota ini memiliki keragaman etnis dan budaya.

Oleh karena itu, ia mendorong agar kawasan-kawasan kampung etnis, seperti Kampung Arab dan Kawasan Pecinan di Semarang agar direnovasi. “(Dengan begitu), wisatawan dapat menikmati beragam destinasi wisata yang lengkap, mulai dari kuliner, arsitektur, tempat ibadah, hingga seni budaya yang menjadi kekayaan Kota Semarang,” jelas Irwan.

Selain festival kuliner, kehadiran bandara dengan rute penerbangan internasional dapat mendukung target tersebut. “Jadi, orang dari Singapura, China, dan Amerika (Serikat) tidak perlu ke Bali dulu, (bisa langsung) ke daerah Jawa Tengah, Yogyakarta, atau Solo,” imbuhnya. Ke depan, kata Irwan, pihaknya bakal terus berupaya mendorong Kota Semarang agar dapat menjadi destinasi wisata prioritas. “Dengan demikian, semakin banyak destinasi wisata di Indonesia yang terkenal di mata dunia,” tandasnya.
