Jakarta, September 2023 – Mewakili Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga Republik Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo, Sesmenpora Gunawan Suswantoro menghadiri kegiatan ASEAN Youth for Digital Action (AYDA) di Wisma Habibie & Ainun, Jakarta, Rabu (27/9).
Sesmenpora dalam kesempatan ini menyampaikan komitmen untuk mendukung visi misi AYDA. Peresmian acara tersebut menandakan puncak dari perjalanan transformatif yang dimulai dengan kesuksesan besar ASEAN Youth Dialogue 2023 di Jakarta pada April lalu.
“AYDA muncul sebagai respons terhadap keharusan pembangunan berkelanjutan di dunia yang terus berkembang, dengan misi yang jelas untuk menggarisbawahi peran penting pemberdayaan pemuda,” ujar Sesmenpora.
Menurut Sesmenpora, ASEAN Youth Dialogue tahun ini menjadi pendorong lahirnya ASEAN Youth for Digital Action, menyatukan para pemikir muda dalam diskusi visioner yang meletakkan dasar bagi masa depan yang menjanjikan.
“Menyadari kebutuhan global akan aksi kolektif dalam keberlanjutan, AYDA berevolusi dari program ASEAN Youth Development, mewujudkan visi jangka panjang yang selaras dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa,” katanya.
Sesmenpora bilang, AYDA menjadi unggul karena komitmennya yang teguh terhadap keterlibatan kaum muda, menawarkan kepada para pemimpin muda sebuah platform yang dinamis untuk menjadi agen perubahan yang aktif.
“Ini adalah bukti dari visi bersama kami dan komitmen untuk masa depan yang berkelanjutan dan diberdayakan secara digital. Bersama-sama, kami akan menciptakan solusi yang berkelanjutan dan membuka jalan bagi generasi mendatang untuk diikuti dengan penuh kebanggaan,” terangnya.
Disamping itu, Sesmenpora juga menyampaikan apresiasi sedalam-dalamnya kepada Indonesia Economic Forum atas kontribusi dan kerjasama yang tak ternilai dalam membentuk visi AYDA, mendorong inovasi dan kemajuan di kawasan ASEAN.
“Tantangan yang kami hadapi sangat beragam, namun dengan tekad bersama kami, masalah dapat diatasi. AYDA bukan hanya hasil dari kontribusi individu, ini suatu yang dijalin bersama oleh dedikasi banyak orang dan bukti kekuatan kerjasama,” tuturnya.
Lebih lanjut, Sesmenpora mengajak semua pihak untuk sama-sama meneruskan semangat kolaborasi dalam mewujudkan ASEAN yang berkelanjutan dan didukung secara digital.
“Dukungan kolabolator menjadi penting dalam perkembangan menuju ASEAN yang berkelanjutan dan diberdayakan secara digital. Marilah kita memulai perjalanan ini bersama-sama dengan optimisme, tekad, dan pengetahuan agar kita dapat mencapai goals yang lebih besar,” jelas Sesmenpora.
