PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk atau Bank BSI (BRIS) menargetkan untuk mendistribusikan 200.000 kartu BSI Debit Mabrur pada tahun pertama peluncurannya. Kartu ini merupakan upaya penguatan dari Kartu BSI Debit Haji yang telah ada sebelumnya.
Direktur Sales & Distribution BSI, Anton Sukarna mengungkapkan bahwa re-branding Kartu Debit Haji menjadi Kartu BSI Debit Mabrur bertujuan untuk mempermudah kebutuhan transaksi jamaah, baik saat berada di Tanah Suci maupun di Tanah Air.
“Pada musim haji tahun ini, lebih dari 80% nasabah haji Indonesia menabung di BSI. Untuk itu perseroan berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan layanan kartu debit haji yang fungsinya sama dengan kartu debit tabungan wadiah/mudharabah yang dapat digunakan di lebih dari 100 juta merchant jaringan Visa,” ungkapnya dalam keterangan resmi, dikutip Jumat, (27/10/2023).
Kartu BSI Debit Mabrur merupakan fasilitas yang diberikan kepada nasabah BSI yang telah mendaftar dan memiliki nomor porsi BPIH haji atau nasabah yang mendaftar umroh. Kartu ini dapat digunakan untuk kebutuhan selama masa tunggu haji/umrah, selama di Arab Saudi, dan setelah kepulangan ke tanah air.
Anton menegaskan, pada tahun 2023, BSI telah melayani lebih dari 171.000 keberangkatan haji reguler, atau lebih dari 81% jamaah haji Indonesia. Sementara itu, keberangkatan haji khusus yang menggunakan layanan BSI mencapai 8.030 jamaah haji.
Selain itu, pada tahun 2022, BSI melayani lebih dari 892.000 jamaah khusus umrah dari berbagai perusahaan travel rekanan BSI. Angka ini mencapai sekitar 89% dari total jamaah umrah nasional pada tahun tersebut.
BSI juga mencatat pertumbuhan yang signifikan dalam jumlah nasabah baru pemegang Kartu BSI Debit. Dalam periode Januari hingga Agustus 2023, BSI mencatat pertumbuhan sebanyak 1,5 juta nasabah baru pemegang kartu, menandai kenaikan sebesar 50% secara year-on-year.
Anton optimistis bahwa kehadiran Kartu BSI Debit Mabrur akan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pertumbuhan Kartu BSI Debit secara keseluruhan, dengan target pertumbuhan sebanyak 200 ribu kartu pada tahun pertama peluncurannya.
