Kolosal, 700 Penari Warnai Pembukaan PKA ke-8

Banda Aceh – Pertunjukan sendratari kolosal oleh 700 penari menjadi daya tarik utama menyemarakkan pembukaan Pekan Kebudayaan Aceh (PKA) ke-8 yang digelar Sabtu malam (4/11/2023) di Taman Sultanah Safiatuddin, Banda Aceh.

Tarian ini tidak hanya menampilkan atraksi dan kostum, tetapi juga mengandung makna filosofis tentang perjalanan Aceh dari masa lalu, masa sekarang dan masa depan.

Tari kolosal ini menggambarkan tiga linimasa, yakni masa lalu, masa kini, dan masa depan Aceh. Masa lalu ditampilkan dengan kostum dan gerak tari yang menggambarkan kejayaan Kerajaan Aceh Darussalam.

Masa kini ditampilkan dengan kostum dan gerak tari yang menggambarkan semangat Aceh saat konflik serta bangkit pasca tsunami 2004. Masa depan ditampilkan dengan kostum dan gerak tari yang menggambarkan harapan Aceh untuk menjadi daerah yang maju, damai, dan sejahtera.

Sesuai tema PKA “Rempahkan Bumi, Pulihkan Dunia” Sentratari kolosal ini juga menjelaskan bagaimana aceh menjadi gerbang jalur rempah.

Salah satu penari yang terlibat dalam tari kolosal ini adalah Intan, mahasiswa semester tujuh Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Ar-Raniry. Ia bergabung dalam sanggar Seulawet. Penari massal kali ini kata Intan merupakan dari gabungan dari berbagai sanggar tari di Aceh.

“Kami sudah latihan hampir enam bulan untuk tampil di PKA ini. Biasa latihan di Taman Budaya beberapa minggu, ada juga di Stadion Harapan Bangsa. Semangat kami demi bisa menampilkan yang terbaik di pembukaan PKA ini. Alhamdulillah, acara tadi berlangsung dengan sukses dan lancar,” kata Intan kepada waspadaaceh.com, usai pertunjukan.

Intan mengaku bangga bisa ikut serta dalam tari kolosal ini. Ia merasa bisa berkontribusi dalam melestarikan dan mempromosikan budaya Aceh. Ia juga berharap PKA bisa menjadi ajang silaturahmi dan apresiasi bagi seniman dan budayawan di Aceh.

“PKA ini sangat penting untuk mengenalkan budaya Aceh kepada masyarakat luas. Budaya Aceh itu sangat kaya dan indah. Saya berharap PKA ini bisa terus berlanjut dan semakin meriah setiap tahunnya,” ujar Intan.

Pembukaan PKA ke-8 ini juga dihadiri oleh Pj Gubernur Aceh Achmad Marzuki, Staf Ahli Bidang Transformasi Birokrasi Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan, Didi Suhardi.

Acara pembukaan ini juga dihadiri oleh tamu undangan dari berbagai kalangan, termasuk perwakilan negara dari Malaysia, India, dan Jepang. Mereka tampak menggunakan pakaian adat Ace.

PKA ke-8 ini akan berlangsung hingga 12 November 2023. Selama seminggu, berbagai kegiatan budaya akan digelar di Taman Sultanah Safiatuddin dan lokasi lainnya. Beberapa kegiatan yang menarik perhatian adalah pameran budaya, festival kuliner, lomba seni, dan pentas budaya.
