Selain itu juga sekaligus meminimalisir dampak lingkungan melalui daur ulang baterai bekas yang berpotensi bernilai tinggi.

Tommy Sucipto, Managing Director Warfy mengatakan, baterai yang habis masa pakainya dan sudah tidak berfungsi lagi, hendaknya diganti dan dipasang dengan bateri baru untuk menghasilkan performa kendaraan listrik yang lebih baik. Untuk itu, daur ulang baterai bekas pada kendaraan listrik ini akan digarap serius oleh kedua belah pihak.

Tujuannya adalah untuk memulihkan elemen-elemen berharga yang ada dalam baterai ion-litium yang sudah terpakai.

“Ion-litium merupakan jenis baterai yang paling banyak dipakai oleh kendaraan listrik. Baterai ion-litium bekas dari kendaraan listrik adalah sumber daya yang berharga, terutama setelah umur pakainya dalam kendaraan listrik telah berakhir,” ujarnya dikutip Minggu, 29 Oktober 2023.
