Kemendikbudristek Tetapkan 213 Warisan Budaya Takbenda Indonesia

Surabaya – Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) menetapkan 213 Warisan Budaya Takbenda Indonesia (WBTbI) yang meliputi cerita rakyat melegenda, resep makanan, bahasa, permainan rakyat, dan seni pertunjukan seperti tari-tarian.

Judi Wahjudin Direktur Pelindungan Kebudayaan Direktorat Jenderal Kebudayaan Kemendikbudristek menuturkan, 213 warisan yang ditetapkan sebagai WBTbI tersebut mencakup lima domain yang berasal dari 31 Provinsi di Indonesia.

“Penetapan ini tidak boleh berhenti hanya sampai apresiasi saja namun yang penting adalah rencana aksi ke depan sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab dalam upaya memajukan kebudayaan bangsa yang memberi manfaat untuk masyarakat,” katanya dalam keterangan di Jakarta, Minggu (30/10/2023) yang dilansir Antara.

Selain penetapan WBTbI, sertifikat penetapan 19 Cagar Budaya Peringkat Nasional dengan lima kategori Cagar Budaya yang berasal dari delapan provinsi di Indonesia juga diserahkan oleh Kemendikbudristek pada tahun ini.

Kata Judi, pihaknya berupaya untuk melestarikan dan melindungi warisan budaya Indonesia melalui pencatatan dan penetapan warisan budaya, baik Cagar Budaya Nasional (CBN) maupun WBTbI.

Untuk diketahui, Kemendikbudristek turut memiliki fungsi untuk melakukan pelindungan, pengembangan, pemanfaatan, dan pembinaan terhadap seluruh warisan budaya.

Oleh sebab itu, Judi mengingatkan pelestarian dan pelindungan warisan budaya Indonesia baik CBN maupun WBTbI tidak boleh hanya selesai sampai penetapannya sebagai warisan budaya nasional, melainkan perlu ada tindak lanjut nyata agar warisan budaya itu tetap terlindungi.

Selain itu, keberadaan warisan budaya pun harus dapat didorong potensi dan kebermanfaatannya bagi pemilik budaya dan masyarakat luas agar tidak hilang ditelan zaman.

“Kami bersama para mitra akan menyusun instrumen-instrumen untuk melakukan evaluasi dan tindak lanjut yang lebih baik, untuk kemudian dilanjutkan oleh teman-teman di daerah,” kata Judi.
