Tangerang, Oktober 2023 – Menteri Perdagangan Zulkifli Hasan mengatakan, pemerintah terus berkomitmen mendorong masyarakat untuk terus mengembangkan minat dan kemampuan berwirausaha. Untuk itu, memperkenalkan ilmu berwirausaha sejak dini dapat memberi efek
positif terhadap dunia wirausaha di Indonesia. Salah satu upaya yang ditempuh adalah mendorong
institusi-institusi pendidikan, salah satunya institusi pendidikan agama, untuk mengajarkan
wirausaha kepada para peserta didik.
Hal ini disampaikan Mendag Zulkifli Hasan saat menghadiri Silaturahmi Kebangsaan Dewan
Pimpinan Wilayah Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (DPW LDII) Provinsi Banten hari ini, Sabtu
(30/9) di Pondok Pesantren Al-Furqon, Tangerang, Banten.
“Saya ingin Kementerian Perdagangan dan LDII mengembangkan kewirausahaan bersama. Kami
ingin mendukung institusi-institusi pendidikan, seperti yang ada di bawah naungan LDII, untuk
mengembangkan kapasitas berwirausaha. Jadi selain belajar agama, juga sekaligus pintar
berdagang. Peningkatan kapasitas ini yang kami harap bisa dikerjasamakan. Kita harapkan, umat
Islam yang maju akan berkontribusi menjadikan Indonesia hebat,” kata Mendag Zulkifli Hasan.
Mendag Zulkifli Hasan mengungkapkan, Kemendag terus bergerak untuk mengajak organisasiorganisasi kemasyarakatan dan yayasan-yayasan pendidikan untuk lebih melek terhadap kegiatan
wirausaha. Ia mengungkapkan, upaya ini terutama ditujukan bagi anak-anak muda. “Hal ini disasar
ke institusi-institusi pendidikan seperti pondok dan sekolah, sehingga institusi pendidikan sejak
dini dapat menanamkan semangat berwirausaha sekaligus memberi bekal kemampuan tersebut,”
ungkap Mendag Zulkifli Hasan.
Mendag Zulkifli Hasan pun mengajak seluruh lapisan masyarakat untuk berkolaborasi bagi
masyarakat dan memberi peluang peningkatan kapasitas bagi generasi muda. “Saya mengajak,
ayo kita memperkuat persatuan, fokus membangun anak-anak kita agar bisa lebih produktif dan
mengembangkan diri,” pungkas Mendag Zulkifli Hasan.

“No thanks Lin just a pot of Jasmine tea for us please.” Lin went back to the kitchen area. “No booze for me today as I will have to work in the bar so it is just tea for me.”
Not in a drinking mood either, I agreed with her.”
