Harga Pangan Naik, BI Yakin Inflasi Akhir 2023 Terjaga di 2-4%

JAKARTA – Bank Indonesia (BI) menyampaikan bahwa laju inflasi pada Oktober 2023 tetap terjaga dalam kisaran sasaran 2-4%, meski harga komoditas pangan naik. Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat, inflasi Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) Oktober 2023 mencapai 0,17% secara bulanan (month-to-month/mtm), atau secara tahunan menjadi 2,56% (year-on-year/yoy).

Kepala Departemen Komunikasi BI Erwin Haryono mengatakan inflasi yang tetap terjaga ini merupakan hasil nyata dari konsistensi kebijakan moneter serta eratnya sinergi pengendalian inflasi antara BI dan pemerintah, baik pusat maupun daerah, dalam Tim Pengendalian Inflasi Pusat dan Daerah (TPIP dan TPID) melalui penguatan Gerakan Nasional Pengendalian Inflasi Pangan (GNPIP) di berbagai daerah.

“Dengan perkembangan tersebut, BI meyakini inflasi tetap terkendali dalam sasaran 2-4% pada 2023 dan 1,5-3,5% pada 2024,” katanya melalui keterangan resmi, dikutip Kamis (2/11/2023).

Secara bulanan, inflasi kelompok harga bergejolak atau volatile food menurun, menjadi sebesar 0,21% mtm, dari bulan sebelumnya yang tercatat sebesar 0,37% mtm. Perlambatan inflasi volatile food ini kata Erwin terutama disumbang oleh deflasi pada komoditas telur ayam ras, aneka bawang, dan minyak goreng seiring dengan kecukupan pasokan.

Namun demikian, penurunan inflasi lebih lanjut tertahan oleh komoditas beras dan aneka cabai yang meningkat. Secara tahunan, kelompok volatile food mengalami inflasi sebesar 5,54% yoy, meningkat dibandingkan dengan inflasi bulan sebelumnya sebesar 3,62% yoy. Lebih lanjut, inflasi kelompok administered prices tercatat meningkat, 0,46% mtm pada Oktober 2023, dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya yang sebesar 0,23% mtm.

Kenaikan tersebut terutama bersumber dari inflasi bensin dan angkutan udara akibat penyesuaian harga bahan bakar minyak (BBM) nonsubsidi, dan peningkatan harga avtur sejalan dengan kenaikan harga minyak global. Secara tahunan, inflasi kelompok administered prices pun tercatat meningkat menjadi sebesar 2,12% yoy, dari inflasi bulan sebelumnya sebesar 1,99% yoy.
