Bekasi, September 2023 – Kementerian Perdagangan terus melakukan berbagai program dan
strategi untuk mendorong peningkatan pemasaran produk-produk Indonesia, baik di dalam maupun
luar negeri. Salah satunya, dengan fokus mengembangkan ekspor produk halal Indonesia ke pasar
global.
Hal ini disampaikan Direktur Jenderal Pengembangan Ekspor Nasional Didi Sumedi pada acara “IKM
Hunter Goes to Bekasi” yang digelar pada hari ini, Selasa (5/9) di Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Turut hadir
pada acara ini Ketua Yayasan BIG Indonesia Dwi Andayani, Wakil Rektor London School of Public
Relations (LSPR) Institute of Communication & Business Lestari Nurhajati. Hadir sebagai narasumber
yaitu Pimpinan PT Jagoan Ekspor Impor Wisnu Wiratamadja Effendi, Vice Presiden Performance PT
Pos Indonesia Heri Nugrahanto, Analis Kebijakan Ahli Madya Biro Hukum dan Kerja Sama Luar
Negeri Kementerian Agama Fertiana Santy, serta Operations Manager GS One Indonesia Kumoro
Wijanarko.
“Salah satu produk yang menjadi fokus pemerintah, khususnya Kementerian Perdagangan adalah
pengembangan produk halal. Produk halal memiliki potensi yang besar untuk dikembangkan, baik
di dalam maupun luar negeri,” kata Didi.
Didi menyebut, ekspor produk halal Indonesia memiliki potensi yang sangat besar. Berdasarkan riset
Global Islamic Economy Indicator 2022 oleh Dinar Standard, Indonesia menempati peringkat ke-4
ekonomi syariah terbesar setelah Malaysia, Arab Saudi, dan Uni Emirat Arab. Secara detail per
sektor, Indonesia menempati urutan ke-2 untuk kategori makanan halal, peringkat ke-3 untuk
fesyen muslim, dan peringkat ke-6 untuk keuangan syariah.
Di sisi lain, saat ini jumlah populasi Muslim di dunia diperkirakan mencapai 1,91 miliar jiwa atau
sekitar 26 persen dari populasi dunia. Sementara jumlah muslim di Indonesia tercatat 231 juta jiwa
dan menempatkan Indonesia sebagai negara dengan populasi muslim terbesar di dunia.
“Secara ekosistem, Indonesia sangat mumpuni untuk mengembangkan produk halal,” tandas Didi.
Didi memaparkan, sebagai upaya percepatan ekspor usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) Halal,
pemerintah telah membentuk Indonesia Halal Export Incorporated. Pembentukan ini berdasarkan
SK Sekretaris Komite Nasional Ekonomi dan Keuangan Syariah, nomor KEP-1/S.KNEKS/2022 tanggal
22 Oktober 2022. Program percepatan ekspor UKM Halal difokuskan pada akses pasar ekspor
produk halal, pembiayaan ekspor, inkubasi dan produksi, serta perjanjian dagang dengan negara
mitra.
Didi melanjutkan, Kemendag telah melakukan berbagai program Promosi Produk Halal 2023.
Diantaranya dengan mengikuti berbagai pameran seperti Thaifex Anuga Asia di Bangkok dan
Malaysia International Halal Showcase; sementara untuk produk modest fashion Kemendag juga
berpartisipasi pada New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Indonesia
Festival 2023 di Korea Selatan, dan Jakarta Muslim Fashion. Kemendag juga terus mempromosikan
produk halal Indonesia melalui kegiatan misi dagang. Beberapa diantaranya yaitu kegiatan misi
dagang ke Arab Saudi, Mesir, dan India.
Sebagai puncaknya, Kemendag akan menggelar ajang Trade Expo Indonesia yang akan dilaksanakan
secara fisik pada 18 – 22 Oktober 2023 dan secara daring pada 18 Oktober – 18 Desember 2023. TEI
merupakan pameran tahunan berskala internasional dan terbesar di Indonesia yang akan dihadiri
pembeli dari berbagai negara. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mempromosikan produk-produk
Indonesia.
Didi menambahkan, untuk meningkatkan daya saing, Kemendag melaksanakan beberapa program
fasilitasi sertifikasi. Beberapa diantaranya fasilitasi sertifikat halal bagi pelaku usaha
makanan/minuman olahan, kosmetik dan bahan penyusun kosmetik, serta produk kulit.
Selanjutnya, sertifikasi Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) bagi pelaku usaha di
wilayah DI Yogyakarta, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Barat, Jawa Timur, dan Banten. Selain itu, Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMP) ISO 22716 untuk perusahaan kosmetik di Jawa Timur, Jawa Tengah,
dan DKI Jakarta.
Didi berharap, IKM Goes to Bekasi dapat memberikan manfaat bagi kemajuan pelaku UKM.
“Semoga memberikan kegiatan ini dapat bermanfaat bagi para pelaku usaha dan juga para
mahasiswa. Lebih jauh, semoga program ini juga memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perdagangan
Indonesia,” tutup Didi.
Selama lima tahun terakhir (2018—2022), ekspor produk halal Indonesia terus meningkat dengan
tren pertumbuhan sebesar 4 persen. Sementara pada semester pertama 2023, ekspor produk
mencapai USD 6,90 miliar. Sedangkan, pada 2022, nilai ekspor produk halal Indonesia mencapai USD
15,87 miliar, naik 9,83 persen dibandingkan tahun 2021.
