KemBali Becik Adakan Workshop Sustainable Energy, Kejar Target Bali Net Zero Emission Tahun 2024

DENPASAR – Dalam rangka Bali Net Zero Emission pada 2045 mendatang, Komunitas KemBali Becik menggelar workshop terkait penerapan suistanable energy alias energi terbarukan di Hotel Head Potatoes, Kerobokan, Kuta Utara, Badung, Rabu 27 September 2023 kemarin. 

Ketika ditemui, Project Lead Kembali Becik Michelle Winowatan mengatakan, langkah ini bertujuan untuk mencari solusi khususnya dalam rangka misi Bali Net Zero Emissionpada 2045 mendatang.

“Harapannya apa yang kami temukan dari studi ini bisa membantu mempercepat kebijakan yang dapat mencapai NZE 2045 untuk Bali,” ungkap Michelle.

Michelle melanjutkan, KemBali Becik mempunyai program Green Pages Directory untuk mendorong penerapan energi terbarukan terutama di sektor pariwisata.

“Kami terus akan mendorong usaha-usaha pariwisata hotel restoran dan lain-lain untuk mengadopsi praktek sustainable tadi,” lanjut Michelle.

“Seperti mengadopsi energi terbarukan, kendaraan listrik dan lain-lain, juga mengedukasi publik termasuk wisatawan yang jumlahnya lebih besar dari resident Bali yang 4 juta (pada) 2022 wisatawannya 10 juta.”

Sementara, Kepala Dinas Ketenagakerjaan dan ESDM Ida Bagus Setiawan  tak menampik misi NZE 2045 merupakan sebuah tantangan tersendiri bagi Bali.

Oleh karenanya, diperlukan kolaborasi atau kerja sama dengan stakeholder terkait.

“Peran-peran stakeholder seperti komunitas atau komitmen komunitas semacam KemBali Becik ini semacam partner pemerintah,” ungkap Setiawan.

Di kesempatan yang sama, Kepala Bidang Multi Moda Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) Provinsi Bali I Kadek Murda, mengatakan, salah satu penyumbang emisi terbesar adalah kendaraan.

Menyikapi hal ini, Pemprov Bali tengah mendorong masyarakat untuk beralih menggunakan transportasi publik atau kendaraan listrik.

“Kita sedang mengarah ke arah sana LRT, MRT dengan kerjasama berbagai pihak. Intinya ke depan Bali harus menggunakan transport ramah lingkungan. Kedua terjadi peralihan ke transport publik,” tegas Murda.
