Jakarta -Dalam upaya memperkuat dukungan domestik terhadap kerja sama ekonomi multilateral Indonesia, Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian (Kemenko Perekonomian) berkolaborasi dengan Universitas Mataram (Unram) menyelenggarakan kuliah tamu dengan tema Perkembangan Kerja Sama Ekonomi Multilateral OECD dan Manfaatnya terhadap Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Mandalika pada 13 Oktober 2023. Kuliah tamu ini merupakan salah satu langkah dalam meningkatkan interaksi antara pemerintah dan dunia akademik serta memperkuat implementasi isu-isu ekonomi multilateral.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Sekretaris Kemenko Perekonomian Susiwijono Moegiarso menyampaikan materi terkait peran strategis Indonesia dalam kerja sama ekonomi multilateral. Susiwijono menyampaikan bahwa pandemi Covid-19, kondisi geopolitik antara Rusia dan Ukraina, dan fragmentasi perdagangan dunia telah membawa ketidakpastian global.
Kondisi tersebut berdampak terhadap kebijakan perekonomian dunia termasuk suku bunga dan inflasi yang lebih tinggi, tekanan utang negara berkembang, dan pengetatan kondisi keuangan global. Selain itu, risiko krisis pangan karena fenomena El Nino turut memengaruhi produksi pangan.
Di tengah ketidakpastian ini, pemerintah terus memperkuat kebijakan domestik dan investasi guna meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Bauran kebijakan fiskal, moneter, dan sektor keuangan diterapkan untuk menjaga pertumbuhan ekonomi, mengendalikan inflasi, meningkatkan hilirisasi komoditas sumber daya alam, dan mendorong ekspor untuk meningkatkan resiliensi sektor eksternal dan memanfaatkan bonus demografi Indonesia.
Susiwijono menekankan bahwa bonus demografi merupakan fenomena yang hanya terjadi sekali. Oleh karena itu, KEK harus mengoptimalkan bonus demografi Indonesia dalam masa 10 tahun ke depan dengan membuka lapangan kerja seluas-luasnya. Dalam kuliah tamu tersebut, Susiwijono menegaskan komitmen Pemerintah untuk terus mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, termasuk melalui KEK.
“KEK Mandalika menjadi salah satu upaya mencapai pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan di Nusa Tenggara Barat. KEK Mandalika harus bisa meningkatkan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto. Ini adalah langkah penting untuk meyakinkan investor dan memberikan manfaat konkret bagi kawasan tersebut,” ujar Susiwijono.
Lebih lanjut, Kemenko Perekonomian terus memajukan kerja sama ekonomi multilateral Indonesia demi mencapai tujuan transformasi ekonomi Indonesia Emas 2045 yang bertujuan untuk mengangkat Indonesia menjadi negara berpendapatan tinggi, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan. Transformasi ekonomi Indonesia Emas 2045 adalah visi untuk mengangkat Indonesia menjadi negara berpendapatan tinggi dengan pertumbuhan rata-rata 6-7% per tahun.
Presiden Joko Widodo juga telah memberikan arahan agar Indonesia segera menjadi anggota Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) yang akan memberikan banyak peluang ekonomi.
Dibuka oleh Rektor Universitas Mataram, Prof. Bambang Hari Kusumo, kegiatan ini merupakan hasil kolaborasi antara Unram, Keasistenan Deputi Kerja Sama Ekonomi Multilateral Kemenko Perekonomian, dan Sekretariat Jenderal Dewan Nasional KEK.
