Membangun Ekosistem Baru Melalui Chery International User Summit 2023

Jakarta – merek otomotif global asal Cina, tengah menciptakan ekosistem baru melalui perhelatan Chery International User Summit 2023. Kegiatan ini digelar di Chery International Corporation, Wuhu, Provinsi Anhui, Cina, pada 15-17 Oktober 2023. Tidak kurang dari 500 undangan dari 40 negara datang untuk meramaikan kegiatan tersebut. Mereka terdiri dari konsumen, jurnalis, dan para bloger. 

Perhelatan akbar yang baru pertama kali digelar ini menjadi salah satu upaya Chery untuk menunjukkan eksistensinya. Para konsumen, jurnalis, dan bloger diajak bersama-sama untuk menjelajahi pembentukan ekosistem baru Chery tersebut.

Tujuannya semata agar mereka memiliki pengalaman dan pemahaman secara mendalam tentang Chery. Dengan pemahaman ini diharapkan mereka memiliki keyakinan untuk berkolaborasi dan membantu Chery dalam perjalanannya menuju panggung utama dunia.

Salah satu highlight dari acara ini adalah Pameran Produk Ekologi Chery, yang menampilkan lima peragaan utama hidup modern. Pada hari pertama Chery International User Summit, pengunjung dapat melihat dan mengenal lebih dekat produk-produk inovatif dari Chery yang mencerminkan gaya hidup modern. Peragaan-peragaan ini akan memberikan pengalaman yang mendalam bagi para pengguna Chery dalam memahami konsep dan nilai-nilai yang diusung oleh merek ini.

Dengan adanya Chery International User Summit, Chery semakin memperkuat posisinya sebagai merek premium yang berfokus pada pengguna. Acara ini tidak hanya memberikan kesempatan bagi pengguna untuk berinteraksi langsung dengan merek ini, tetapi juga menjadi wadah untuk menciptakan ekosistem baru yang melibatkan pengguna dari seluruh dunia. Dengan demikian, Chery semakin siap untuk tampil di panggung utama dunia dan menghadirkan inovasi yang menginspirasi dalam industri otomotif.

Presiden PT Chery Sales Indonesia Shawn Xu mengatakan, Chery telah menjalin hubungan yang kuat dengan media sejak tahun lalu. “Kami menilai, media adalah jembatan penting untuk menyampaikan informasi tentang perkembangan Chery kepada publik,” katanya di Chery International Corporation, 15 Oktober 2023.

Chery telah merilis Omoda 5 di Indonesia pada November lalu. Mobil ini didesain dengan standar global dan ditargetkan untuk konsumen muda dan berjiwa muda. Shawn mengklaim, Omoda 5 menjadi produk yang sangat disukai, terutama oleh konsumen muda. “Ini tidak lepas dari desain crossover SUV yang futuristik dan modis,” katanya.

Setelah Omoda 5, kata Shawn, Chery berencana untuk membawa merek lain, seperti Jaeeco dan Exeed, ke Indonesia. Jaeeco menawarkan SUV dengan tampilan lebih tangguh dan cocok untuk pengemudi yang mencari pengalaman off-road. Namun untuk saat ini Chery berfokus pada peluncuran beberapa model di bawah merek Omoda dan Jaeeco.

Shawn melanjutkan, Chery serius untuk mengembangkan market di Indonesia. Sebab, dengan jumlah penduduk yang cukup besar, Indonesia menjadi negara yang spesial. Saat ini Chery telah memulai produksi perakitan (CKD) di Indonesia dan berencana untuk memproduksi kendaraan listrik (EV) di dalam negeri.

Dengan adanya pabrik lokal diharapkan dapat menekan biaya produksi dan meningkatkan ekspor kendaraan Chery ke negara-negara tetangga. “Dengan produksi CKD di Indonesia akan membuat harga Chery lebih terjangkau bagi konsumen Indonesia,” katanya. “Kami juga sedang mempertimbangkan pengembangan mobil MPV untuk memenuhi permintaan konsumen di Indonesia.”

Di sisi lain, Chery juga memperhatikan layanan purna jual demi membangun kepercayaan konsumen. Saat ini Chery telah membangun jaringan layanan dan persediaan suku cadang yang memadai di sejumlah kota di Indonesia. Terdapat juga grup komunikasi yang memungkinkan konsumen berinteraksi langsung dan memberikan masukan.
