Jakarta – Pemerintah memberikan peluang bagi pemanfaatan teknologi baru seperti Artificial Intelligence (AI) untuk berbagai bidang pembangunan. Sekretaris Jenderal Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika Mira Tayyiba menyatakan pengaturan dalam bentuk regulasi dan kebijakan akan dilakukan secara tepat dan optimal untuk mendukung pemanfaatan teknologi baru.
“Kita sudah dengarkan dari teman-teman e-commerce, banyak manfaat penggunaan AI. Artinya ada peluangnya, ada manfaatnya. Harus kita kasih ruang supaya bisa dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Pada saatnya nanti bila memang diperlukan regulasi,” jelasnya saat membuka Forum Ekonomi Digital Kominfo (FEDK) VI: “Menavigasi Pemanfaatan Kecerdasan Artifisial (AI) dalam Ekonomi Digital: Posisi, Batasan dan Tantangan Peran Pemerintah” di Pullman Hotel Thamrin Jakarta Pusat, Selasa (31/10/2023).
Sekjen Mira Tayyiba mengakui ada banyak kekhawatiran masyarakat terkait pengembangan kecerdasan buatan muncul seiring perkembangan teknologi AI. Namun demikian, Sekjen Kementerian Kominfo menegaskan pemanfaatan AI harus dilakukan secara inklusif dan bertanggung jawab.
“AI yang inklusif. Ini menantang karena kita bukan negara yang produsen teknologi. Kita adalah pengguna. Pemanfaatannya inklusif, tapi level playing field-nya harus dijaga,” tegasnya.
Pemerintah sudah mengembangkan antisipasi perkembangan teknologi baru di era digital melalui Strategi Nasional Kecerdasan Artifisial untuk tahun 2020-2045.
Dalam dokumen itu, Pemerintah memandu pengembangan serta penerapan AI yang beretika agar kebijakan AI dapat disusun sekaligus diimplementasikan secara transparan, akuntabel, dan adil.
“Sistem AI harus dirancang agar transparan dalam proses pengambilan keputusannya, akuntabel atas tindakannya, dan adil dalam memperlakukan berbagai kelompok masyarakat,” ujar Sekjen Mira Tayyiba menekankan isi dokumen tersebut.
FEDK merupakan agenda rutin Kementerian Kominfo bertemu dengan pelaku ekosistem digital tanah air. Sekjen Kementerian Kominfo berharap, forum ini dapat menghasilkan tindak lanjut dan kesepakatan bersama antara pemerintah dan para pemangku kepentingan.
“(Forum) Ini baik sebagai wahana kita diskusi, tapi mohon setelah ini ada tindak lanjutnya. Penting bagi kita untuk menciptakan pemahaman, kesepahaman, dan kesepakatan. Pasti ada waktunya kita harus saling belajar supaya kita bisa mempercepat pemahaman kita tentang ini,” ungkapnya.
Forum yang digelar sejak 2021 itu banyak memberikan masukan kepada Kementerian Kominfo mengenai kebijakan di bidang Ekonomi Digital. Dalam forum itu hadir Staf Ahli Menteri Kominfo Bidang Teknologi, Mochammad Hadiyana; Sekretaris Direktorat Jenderal Aptika Kominfo, I Nyoman Adhiarna; dan Direktur Ekonomi Digital Kominfo, Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto.
Hadir pula Ketua Umum Indonesia e-Commerce Association (idEA), Bima Laga; President of KORIKA Indonesia, Hammam Riza; serta perwakilan CEO, founder dan pimpinan puncak perusahaan teknologi bidang kecerdasan buatan.
