Hari Kemerdekaan Bangsa Indonesia adalah hari libur nasional di Indonesia untuk memperingati proklamasi kemerdekaan Bangsa Indonesia pada tanggal 17 Agustus 1945 yang merupakan deklarasi independensi bangsa Indonesia.
Setiap tanggal 17 Agustus, warga Indonesia merayakan dan mensyukuri peringatan kemerdekaan bangsa Indonesia dengan melakukan upacara bendera.
Begitu pula PTPN X Kebun Tembakau dalam rangka memeperingati HUT RI ke 78 menggelar upacara bendera di halaman kantor kebun Kertosari pada Kamis 17/8/2023.
General Manager Dwi Aprilla Sandi SP. Menyampaikan,
” Hari ini seluruh karyawan memperingati hari kemerdekaan RI dengan mengikuti upacara bendera .
Selain itu mengikuti pesan presiden terkait PTPN X khususnya tembakau. mengenai menjaga internasional trust dan bagaimana keberlanjutan program yang harus kami garisbawahi ” tuturnya.
Dengan tema “Terus Melaju untuk Indonesia maju ” sebagai salah satu bagian dari BUMN harus berpartisipasi, berkontribusi lebih baik dari apa yang dicapai saat ini.
Sandi berharap di hari kemerdekaan ini harus menjadi spirit dasar untuk karyawan .
Usai mengikuti upacara bendera kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan mengikuti lomba-lomba antar karyawan untuk memeriahkan peringatan HUT RI ke78.
