Wilayah Kerja TS Cluster Delta PTPN X terbentang dari Kabupaten Sidoarjo sampai Kabupaten Bojonegoro, sebagian besar berada di lembah Sungai Brantas yang subur. Cluster Delta PTPN X sebagian besar mengelola kebun TS IPL dan TS Agroforestry PTPN X.


Dari jaman kerajaan Kahuripan (1019 – 1042), Raja Airlangga sangat memperhatikan lahan pertanian dengan membuat bendungan (dam). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya prasasti Kalamagyan yang berada di Dusun Klagen Kecamatan Krian (1 Km utara Kantor Cluster Delta PTPN X) yang menyebutkan Raja Airlanggan membangun sebuah bendungan di daerah Waringin Sapta (sekarang desa Bakalan Wringinpitu Kecamatan Balongbendo).
