Jakarta, 11 Desember 2023 – Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/Kepala Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Menparekraf/Kabaparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno mengimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat yang akan melakukan perjalanan wisata ketika momentum libur Natal 2023 dan Tahun Baru 2024 untuk selalu memperhatikan dan menerapkan prosedur CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environmental Sustainability).
“Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk memastikan perjalanan wisata yang aman, nyaman, dan menyenangkan,” kata Menparekraf Sandiaga, dalam acara “The Weekly Brief with Sandi Uno”, di Jakarta, Senin (11/12/2023). Diperkirakan akan ada 107 juta pergerakan wisatawan saat libur Nataru. Angka ini naik 144 persen jika dibandingkan dengan tahun 2022. Okupansi hotel juga ditargetkan mencapai 80-90 persen selama libur Nataru. “Momen tersebut tentunya kita harus manfaatkan dengan baik,” ujar Sandiaga.
Oleh karena itu, Menparekraf Sandiaga mengimbau masyarakat untuk memilih destinasi liburan dalam negeri guna mendorong pergerakan wisatawan nusantara. Masyarakat diharapkan dapat memilih destinasi yang telah dilengkapi dengan alat keselamatan yang sesuai dengan pedoman pariwisata. Selain itu, mengecek prakiraan cuaca dari BMKG secara berkala juga perlu dilakukan mengingat libur Nataru diperkirakan akan berlangsung di tengah musim penghujan. “Perhatikan juga kondisi fisik saat berlibur, jangan terlalu lelah atau kurang tidur,” ujar Sandiaga.
Dikatakan Menparekraf Sandiaga, Kemenparekraf juga telah menerbitkan Surat Edaran. Utamanya perihal kesiapan industri dan destinasi dalam mendukung keamanan, keselamatan, dan kenyamanan. Mulai dari pengecekan prosedur operasional serta sarana dan prasarana, hingga implementasi pedoman pariwisata tangguh di destinasi.
Upaya kolaboratif juga telah dilakukan seperti pembentukkan dan kesiapan media center Kemenparekraf untuk pemantauan aktivitas wisata serta penyebaran informasi yang bermanfaat bagi wisatawan selama libur Natal 2023 dan Tahun Baru 2024.
