kemarin, Rabu (6/9). Pertemuan mengusung tema “ASEAN Centrality: Innovating towards Greater
Inclusivity” dan sesi pertama berfokus pada peran tekfin dalam mempromosikan inklusivitas
di ASEAN.
“Pemerintah harus cermat menyeimbangkan inovasi dan regulasi perlindungan konsumen.
Kerangka peraturan harus dibuat untuk memastikan tekfin adalah inovasi aman dan terjamin bagi
semua pengguna. Membangun kepercayaan dan keyakinan terhadap tekfin di kalangan konsumen
dan dunia usaha juga penting untuk keberhasilannya,” papar Wamendag Jerry.

Tahun 2018, Peraturan Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (Bappebti) Nomor 1
Tahun 2022, dan Peraturan Bappebti Nomor 4 Tahun 2023. Selain itu, Kementerian Perdagangan
berpartisipasi aktif dalam membuat perjanjian perdagangan.
“Data Bappebti menunjukkan, nilai transaksi aset kripto mencapai Rp75,81 triliun rupiah dari
17,67 juta pengguna pada Juli 2023. Kementerian Perdagangan perlu mengambil peran mengingat
terjadinya transaksi yang luar biasa tersebut,” ujar Wamendag Jerry.
Wamendag Jerry menegaskan, Kementerian Perdagangan Indonesia secara khusus juga aktif
menjalin kerja sama dengan institusi lain, terutama yang berfokus pada perlindungan konsumen
dalam transaksi aset kripto. Seperti Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), Badan Reserse Kriminal
(Bareskrim), Badan Siber dan Sandi Negara (BSSN), Pusat Pelaporan dan Analisis Transaksi
Keuangan (PPATK), Google, dan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK).
