Setelah mencapai kesuksesan kinerja pada Tahun 2022 lalu, PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) X optimis akan mencapai target operasional di Tahun 2023. Pasca aksi korporasi yang dilakukan Holding Perkebunan PTPN III (Persero), pada komoditas tebunya, PTPN X menargetkan luas areal sebesar 59.391 Ha dengan produksi tebu sejumlah 4,43 Juta Ton Tebu. Sedangkan angka produktivitas ditargetkan mencapai 74,6 Ton.Ha dengan rendemen mencapai 7,45%. Di sektor tembakau, PTPN X menargetkan tanam seluas 675 Ha dengan rendemen 10% dan produksi daun hijau sejumlah 11.475 Ton.
”Pada komoditas tebu, saat ini PTPN X berfokus dalam pengelolaan on farm dimana nantinya akan adan peningkatan standar dalam pengelolaan on farm agar menghasilkan tebu yang berkualitas,” terang Tuhu Bangun, Direktur PTPN X.
Sedangkan komoditas tembakau sendiri mengalami kinerja yang kian membaik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan penambahan luas lahan tembakau sejumlah 25 Ha dibandingkan dengan tahun 2022 lalu. Tembakau PTPN X mendapat kepercayaan oleh investor karena kualitasnya yang premium.
Pada komoditas tembakau, PTPN X telah berhasil memperkenalkan cerutu premium miliknya yaitu Golden Djawa pada ajang bergengsi KTT G20 di Bali lalu. Hal ini tentunya membuat kualitas tembakau dan cerutu PTPN X semakin dikenal. Di tahun 2023 ini, manajemen berfokus untuk terus memperkuat model bisnis dan kemampuan menangkap keinginan pasar mengenai tembakau dan cerutu.
”Harapannya, tembakau PTPN X dapat memnberikan kontribusi laba bagi perusahaan maupun pada induk Holding Perkebunan PTPN III (Persero),” terang Tuhu Bangun.
Tuhu Bangun juga menekankan kinerja anak perusahaan PTPN X akan terus ditingkatkan. PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh semakin ditingkatkan penjualan frozen vegatables baik pasar dalam negeri, maupun luar negeri. Yang kedua, PT Energi Agro Nusantara (Enero) semakin meningkatkan produksi bietanol dan terus berinovasi guna mendukung Ketahanan Energi Nasional. Sedangkan PT Dasaplast Nusantara akan meningkatkan kerjasama di sisi flexible packaging.
