Audiensi dengan Menpora Dito, Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah Dukung Pengembangan Esport Nasional

Jakarta, September 2023 – Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga Republik Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo menerima Audiensi Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah (IPM) di Lantai 10 Graha Kemenpora RI, Senin (2/10) siang. Kunjungan ini adalah bagian dari silaturahmi kepengurusan baru IPM periode 2023-2025.

“Terima kasih Mas Menteri, kami sudah diterima silaturahmi. Ini silaturahmi pertama kami di awal periode kepengurusan hasil Muktamar di Medan kemarin yang juga dihadiri Mas Menteri,” kata Ketua Umum IPM Riandy Prawita Putra mengawali audiensi.

Dalam audiensi ini dibeberkan secara singkat riwayat dan perjalanan IPM sebagai organisasi otonom Muhammadiyah yang merupakan gerakan Islam, dakwah amar ma’ruf nahi munkar di kalangan pelajar. Riandy menyebut kepengurusan IPM telah ada di 34 provinsi di Indonesia yang anggotanya terdiri dari para pelajar di sekolah Muhammadiyah mulai dari tingkat TK, SD, hingga SMA.

“Para pelajar di tingkat SD bahkan sudah mulai terlibat dalam kepengurusan,” ungkapnya.

Riandy menyampaikan, selain silaturahmi, kedatangan mereka juga untuk bersinergi dengan Kemenpora dalam program-program kepemudaan dan keolahragaan. Salah satunya dalam bidang esport, di mana IPM bakal menggelar kejuaraan esport untuk game Mobile Legends.

“Di IPM ini yang kami tingkatkan memang Esports-nya. Game Mobile Legends. Banyak kepengurusan di tingkat provinsi sudah mempunyai tim Esport, tinggal kami menggelar kejuaraannya,” urai Riandy.

IPM dalam hal ini mendukung pengembangan esport di tanah air. Lantaran trennya sekarang ini sudah bergeser banyak yang ke olahraga virtual.

Riandy juga mengutarakan keinginan IPM mengundang Menpora Dito untuk hadir dalam kegiatan “Ngopi Bareng dan Main PS”. Kegiatan ini rencananya digelar di pertengahan Oktober.

Menpora Dito menyambut baik undangan tersebut. Menpora mengapresiasi dukungan IPM dalam kegiatan kepemudaan dan keolahragaan. Kontribusi seperti inilah yang diharapkan Kemenpora untuk bisa terus ditingkatkan.

“Nah yang paling dekat, IPM harus kontribusi di Festival Pemuda Indonesia. Biar makin guyublah,” ujar Menpora Dito.

Festival Pemuda Indonesia ini merupakan kegiatan utama Kemenpora di bulan Pemuda, Oktober ini. Festival ini diharapkan bisa menjadi panggung yang mepertemukan dan menyatukan organisasi-organisasi kepemudaan di Tanah Air.

Secara khusus, Menpora Dito meminta IPM bisa menindaklanjuti hasil Muktamar di Medan. Di antaranya terkait kerja sama olahraga pendidikan dan juga moderasi beragama.

Turut hadir mendampingi Menpora dalam audiensi ini Deputi 1 Bidang Pemberdayaan Pemuda Asrorun Ni’am dan Staf Khusus Menpora Bidang Kelembagaan Potensi Pemuda Venno Tetelepta.
