Jogjakarta – Akses keuangan yang dapat dinikmati seluruh segmen masyarakat menjadi salah satu prioritas industri perbankan tanah air. Termasuk PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk atau BRI yang menjadi pemeran penting dalam pemulihan ekonomi, serta dalam peningkatan inklusi keuangan.
Salah satu implementasi dalam mewujudkan hal tersebut, ditunjukkan dengan partisipasi aktif BRI dalam pameran jasa keuangan atau Financial Expo (FIN Expo) 2023 yang digelar di Pakuwon Mall, di Yogyakarta 26 – 29 Oktober 2023. Acara yang diinisiasi oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) bersama Lembaga Jasa Keuangan (LJK) tersebut merupakan rangkaian kegiatan dari Bulan Inklusi Keuangan (BIK) 2023.
Acara ini mengusung tema “Akses Keuangan Merata, Masyarakat Sejahtera” dengan dukungan penuh Bank Indonesia (BI) serta Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS). Kegiatan ini menjadi momentum untuk mengedukasi dan memberikan akses kepada masyarakat terhadap layanan keuangan yang inklusif.
Terkait dengan hal tersebut, Direktur Bisnis Mikro BRI Supari mengatakan bahwa partisipasi ini merupakan salah satu bentuk komitmen perusahaan dalam mendukung pemerataan akses keuangan bagi seluruh lapisan pelaku usaha dan masyarakat umum. Tak terkecuali UMKM yang merupakan inti bisnis BRI agar lebih tangguh dan semakin solid.
“Tentunya kalau kita mau terus mengangkat UMKM ini betul-betul menjadi kontributor pertumbuhan perekonomian, maka kita harus membangun kapabilitas di sektor tersebut. Kapabilitas empowerment, pemberdayaan, dan pendampingan”, kata Supari.
Pada pameran tersebut yang puncak kegiatannya jatuh pada 28 Oktober 2023, terdapat berbagai booth dari Lembaga Jasa Keuangan seperti kementerian, lembaga, perbankan, asuransi, pasar modal, pembayaran, dana pensiun, pegadaian, fintech, dan e-commerce.
Selain pameran LJK, masyarakat juga dapat mengikuti berbagai kegiatan menarik, seperti promosi produk keuangan, business matching, edukasi keuangan, grand prize, daily doorprize, talkshow, kompetisi, bazar UMKM dan music performance. Tak hanya itu, dilakukan juga penyaluran kredit dan booth pembukaan rekening.
BRI pun berpartisipasi selama empat hari berturut-turut melalui pameran booth dan memberikan informasi serta solusi keuangan kepada masyarakat. BRI juga menyediakan informasi terkait pembukaan rekening baru baik melalui Super Apps BRImo dan Senyum Mobile, informasi pembiayaan, dana pensiun, bancassurance, kartu kredit dan lainnya.
Terkait dengan kegiatan tersebut, Regional CEO BRI Yogyakarta John Sarjono juga berharap masyarakat akan semakin paham atas berbagai produk jasa keuangan BRI. “Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pihak OJK yang melakukan inisiasi acara tersebut. BRI mendukung penuh dalam mendorong inklusi keuangan yang lebih baik bagi semua lapisan masyarakat,” imbuh John.
Untuk diketahui, Bulan Inklusi Keuangan (BIK) adalah kegiatan rutin yang digelar setiap tahun pada bulan Oktober. BIK digelar dalam rangka mendorong peningkatan inklusi keuangan yang signifikan dan berkelanjutan secara serentak di seluruh wilayah Indonesia.
