JAKARTA – Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2024 resmi digelar di ICE BSD mulai Kamis 19 Oktober 2023 sampai Minggu 21 Oktober 2023. Kesuksesan gelaran JMFW 2024 didukung oleh Kementerian Perdagangan. Wakil Menteri Perdagangan, Jerry Sambuaga, yakin dengan adanya acara ini, fashion Indonesia bisa menjadi kiblat bagi standar fashion muslim di seluruh dunia. Pemerintah juga ingin fokus mendukung hasil karya anak negeri supaya bisa semakin berkembang di kancah internasional. “JMFW akan jadi sebuah kiblat dan ikon trendsetter di dunia internasional. Kemendag dengan beberapa lintas stakeholders berharap supaya kegiatan seperti ini bisa berkelanjutan di kemudian hari supaya bisa memberikan kesan kepada dunia bahwa gelaran JMFW bisa memainkan peran di industri fashion,” ujar Jerry Sambuaga, dalam acara pembukaan JMFW 2024, di ICE BSD, Kamis 19 Oktober 2023.
