Jalan Terus, Program Unggulan Pertanian di Sukoharjo Tak Terpengaruh Kasus di Kementan

SUKOHARJO – Program pertanian di Kabupaten Sukoharjo bersumber dari pemerintah masih terus berjalan berkelanjutan dan tidak terpengaruh kasus dugaan korupsi di Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan). Sektor pertanian menjadi unggulan daerah dan andalan pusat seperti IP400, kelapa genjah dan lainnya masih dikerjakan petani lokal.

Kepala Dinas Pertanian dan Perikanan Sukoharjo Bagas Windaryatno, Kamis (19/10/2023) mengatakan, kasus hukum yang menjerat Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia Syahrul Yasin Limpo di Kementerian Pertanian tidak berpengaruh pada sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Sebab masalah tersebut merupakan urusan pribadi yang bersangkutan di kementerian terkait. Sedangkan sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Sukoharjo murni program unggulan yang dikerjakan bersama oleh pemerintah pusat dan daerah.

Bagas menegaskan, program pertanian unggulan Kabupaten Sukoharjo salah satunya IP400 tetap berjalan dan berkelanjutan. Sebab program IP400 yang dijalankan memberikan kontribusi besar bagi kemajuan sektor pertanian baik menguntungkan untuk petani dan pemerintah karena membantu menjaga ketersediaan beras.

“Kabupaten Sukoharjo menjadi daerah terluas se-Indonesia yang menjalankan program IP400 dilahan seluas 10.000 hektar. Perlu kami tegaskan lagi program unggulan pertanian di Kabupaten Sukoharjo tetap berjalan berkelanjutan dan tidak terpengaruh kasus hukum yang menimpa Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia Syahrul Yasin Limpo maupun di Kementan,” ujarnya.

Dinas Pertanian dan Perikanan Sukoharjo memastikan hal tersebut mengingat program pertanian yang dijalankan sudah sesuai prosedur. Termasuk diantaranya terkait bantuan alat pertanian modern (Alsintan) dari pemerintah pusat.

“Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir pengembangan sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Sukoharjo terus dilakukan. Termasuk menggunakan Alsintan. Itu itu memang perlu dukungan Dinas Pertanian dan Perikanan Sukoharjo melalui Kementan,” lanjutnya.

Dinas Pertanian dan Perikanan Sukoharjo terus memberikan pendampingan kepada petani terkait program unggulan pertanian. Salah satunya yang dilakukan sekarang pada panen padi di lahan IP400. Hasil panen padi pada musim tanam III (MT III) melimpah meski kondisi diterpa fenomena alam El Nino yang berdampak pada peningkatan cuaca panas.

Pendampingan juga dilakukan terhadap petani dan warga terkait pelaksanaan program penanaman kelapa genjah sebagai sumber bahan baku pembuatan gula semut. Sektor pertanian tersebut menjadi unggulan karena diluncurkan langsung oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia Joko Widodo dan Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia Syahrul Yasin Limpo di Kecamatan Bulu.

“Penanaman kelapa genjah juga menjadi terbesar di Indonesia dengan total 110 ribu pohon. Ini jug menjadi program unggulan pertanian daerah dari pusat melalui Kementan,” lanjutnya.
