Libur Maulid Nabi KAI catat kenaikan penumpang 50 persen

Jakarta – PT KAI (Persero) mencatat terjadi lonjakan pelanggan pada hari libur nasional Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW pada Kamis, 28 September 2023. Per pukul 15.00 WIB, 263.303 tiket jarak jauh terjual untuk keberangkatan 27-28 September 2023.

VP Public Relations KAI Joni Martinus menyampaikan jumlah tersebut naik sekitar 50 persen dibandingkan pekan sebelumnya. Jumlah tiket yang terjual pada pekan sebelumnya yaitu 175.945 tiket. 

“Jumlah ini akan terus bertambah karena penjualan tiket masih berlangsung,” kata Joni melalui keterangan tertulis, Kamis, 28 September 2023.

Dia menyampaikan sejumlah tujuan favorit pelanggan selama periode libur Maulid Nabi hingga akhir pekan ini yaitu KA Argo Parahyangan (Gambir-Bandung), KA Airlangga (Pasarsenen-Surabaya Pasarturi), KA Serayu (Pasarsenen-Purwokerto), KA Sri Tanjung (Lempuyangan – Ketapang), dan lainnya. Semua tiket yang sudah dipesan berstatus pulang pergi (PP).

KAI telah menyiapkan 1.120 perjalanan kereta api jarak jauh pada periode 27 September hingga 1 Oktober 2023. Rata-rata, sebanyak 224 kereta api dioperasikan setiap hari.

KAI mengingatkan kembali agar pelanggan KA agar memperhatikan aturan barang bawaan. Volume maksimal barang bawaan yaitu 20 kilogram.

Jika berlebih, akan dikenakan biaya tambahan. Biaya tambahan atas begasi kelas ekskutif Rp10.000 per kilogram, kelas bisnis Rp6.000,00 per kilogram, dan kelas ekonomi Rp2.000,00 per kilogram.

Selain itu, pelanggan KA tidak boleh membawa barang-barang tertentu di dalam bagasi kereta api. Di antaranya, barang-barang yang mudah terbakar, senjata api, senjata tajam, narkotika, obat-obatan terlarang dan zat aditif lainnya, benda atau barang yang berbau menyengat, serta hewan peliharaan.

“Tingginya animo masyarakat menggunakan jasa layanan kereta api di libur Maulid Nabi yang berdekatan dengan weekend ini menunjukkan kepercayaan masyakarakat yang tinggi akan transportasi massal kereta api yang aman dan bebas dari kemacetan di jalan raya. Sehingga momen liburan bersama keluarga atau kolega dapat dinikmati dengan nyaman dan menyenangkan,” tutup Joni.
