Panen Raya di Subang, Presiden: Diharapkan Tambah Cadangan Beras Kita

Presiden Joko Widodo Mengikuti Panen Raya Padi Di Desa Ciasem Girang, Kabupaten Subang, Provinsi Jawa Barat, Pada Minggu Pagi, 8 Oktober 2023. Dalam Keterangannya Selepas Panen, Presiden Jokowi Berharap Panen Semester Kedua Tahun Ini Yang Dilaksanakan Di Beberapa Daerah Dapat Menambah Pasokan Cadangan Beras Nasional.

“Ini Kita Senang Melihat Hasilnya, Saya Kira Ini Satu Hektare Bisa Sembilan Ton, Memang Padat Sekali Saya Lihat Dan Kita Harapkan Dari Panen-Panen Inilah Pasokan Beras Bisa Menambah Cadangan Kita,” Ungkapnya.

Meski Demikian, Presiden Menilai Hasil Panen Raya Tersebut Masih Belum Dapat Memenuhi Kebutuhan Beras Nasional. Oleh Karenanya, Dibutuhkan Penambahan Stok Cadangan Beras Nasional Hingga 1,5 Juta Ton Sampai Akhir Tahun 2023.

“Tapi Memang Masih Kurang Sehingga Dari Stok Yang Ada Di Bulog Saat Ini 1,7 Juta Ton Masih Menambah Lagi, Sampai Akhir Tahun Kira-Kira 1,5 Juta Ton,” Ungkapnya.

Lebih Lanjut, Presiden Menjelaskan Bahwa Hal Tersebut Dikarenakan Tingkat Produksi Beras Nasional Akan Berkurang Karena Kekeringan Yang Diakibatkan Oleh Fenomena El Nino.

“Problem Itu (El Nino). Oleh Sebab Itu, Kenapa Kita Tambah 1,5 Juta Ton Cadangan Kita Karena El Nino Apa Pun Memberikan Pengaruh Kepada Produksi, Memberikan Pengaruh Kepada Hasil Panen Yang Ada,” Imbuhnya.

Terkait Harga Beras, Presiden Menyebut Bahwa Dibutuhkan Pasokan Beras Yang Lebih Banyak Untuk Disalurkan Ke Pasar Agar Bisa Menurunkan Harga.

“Harus Kita Atasi Dengan Menggerojokkan Sebanyak-Banyaknya, Memasok Sebanyak-Banyaknya Ke Pasar, Agar Harga Bisa Turun,” Tandasnya.

Turut Mendampingi Presiden Yakni Kepala Badan Pangan Nasional Sekaligus Plt. Menteri Pertanian Arief Prasetyo Adi, Pj. Gubernur Jawa Barat Bey Machmudin, Dan Bupati Subang Ruhimat.
