Pekanbaru – Dewan Komisaris PTPN IV PalmCo menyatakan pola kemitraan plasma yang sukses dilaksanakan PalmCo Regional 3 Provinsi Riau akan dijadikan rujukan sebagai bagian untuk mengakselerasi peremajaan sawit rakyat di Kalimantan.
“Model kemitraan yang dilaksanakan di sini kita bawa ke tempat lain. Terutama Kalimantan,” kata Komisaris Utama PTPN IV PalmCo Dahlan Harahap saat melaksanakan kunjungan kerja ke Regional Office PalmCo Regional 3, Kota Pekanbaru, Provinsi Riau, belum lama ini.
Kunjungan tersebut merupakan yang pertama kali dilaksanakan usai Kementerian BUMN dan Holding Perkebunan Nusantara III Persero membentuk PalmCo melalui penggabungan PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) V, VI dan XIII ke dalam PTPN IV sebagai entitas bertahan dan pemisahan tidak murni aset dan liabilitas PTPN III (Persero) ke dalam PTPN IV.
Dahlan hadir didampingi Andi Wibisono dan Fauzi Yusuf selaku Komisaris Independen, Anggota Komisaris Arief Budiono serta Komisaris Arie Yuriwin dan disambut langsung Region Head PalmCo Regional 3 Rurianto, SEVP Operation Arief Subhan Siregar dan SEVP Business Support Ahmad Diponegoro.
Dalam paparannya, Dahlan mengatakan terdapat kesamaan terhadap pengembangan kemitraan perkebunan kelapa sawit yang berlangsung di Provinsi Riau dan Kalimantan. Sehingga, sangat mungkin pola yang berlangsung di eks PTPN V tersebut juga diterapkan di Borneo.
Pola Kemitraan PalmCo Regional 3 dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan empat program unggulan yang terbukti berhasil mengakselerasi peremajaan sawit rakyat di Bumi Lancang Kuning. Pertama adalah kemitraan dengan pola manajemen tunggal atau single management. Pola tersebut menjadi kunci sukses program PSR yang dilaksanakan PTPN IV PalmCO Regional 3 Riau di berbagai kabupaten Provinsi Riau.
Pola manajamen tunggal atau single management mengusung standar tinggi perusahaan, mulai dari penumbangan sawit renta, pemanfaatan bibit sawit unggul bersertifikat, proses penananman, pemupukan, hingga pemeliharaan untuk diterapkan di areal peremajaan sawit masyarakat.
Dengan begitu, masyarakat akan memiliki perkebunan sawit dengan produktivitas tinggi dan memangkas ketimpangan produktivitas petani dan perusahaan seperti yang selama ini jamak terjadi.
Pendekatan tersebut kian lengkap dengan pola off taker atau pendampingan perusahaan kepada petani selama proses peremajaan sawit berlangsung. Salah satu wujud pola tersebut adalah skema cash for works untuk para petani mitra sehingga para petani tetap mendapatkan penghasilan selama peremajaan berlangsung.
