Jakarta – Menteri Perdagangan, Zulkifli Hasan memberikan sambutan pada acara WhatsApp Business Summit 2023 di Jakarta, Rabu (1 Nov).

Mendag menyampaikan, kolaborasi, kerja sama dan adaptasi digital menjadi kata kunci dalam menghadapi tantangan perdagangan saat ini. Kehadiran platform di bawah Meta Indonesia seperti WhatsApp, Facebook, dan juga Instagram harus dapat menjadi tempat bagi promosi produk dalam negeri.

Mendag berharap Meta dapat menjadi mitra utama dalam mendorong transformasi digital dan bekerja sama dengan pemerintah dalam mengembangkan program pelatihan serta memberikan dukungan teknis yang akan membantu pedagang dan UMKM untuk dapat on boarding di platform digital.

Mendag menegaskan, melalui kolaborasi tersebut, para pelaku UMKM diharapkan dapat meningkatkan visibilitas produk, menjangkau konsumen yang lebih luas dan memanfaatkan peluang dalam ekosistem digital yang berkembang.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, Mendag didampingi oleh Direktur Jenderal Perdagangan Dalam Negeri, Isy Karim serta Staf Khusus Mendag Bidang Perjanjian Perdagangan Internasional, Bara Krishna Hasibuan.
