Hangzhou, September 2023 – Timnas Voli Putra Indonesia berhasil meraih kemenangan dramatis atas Kazakhstan 3-2 untuk melaju ke perebutan posisi ketujuh cabang voli putra Asian Games 2022 Hangzhou, di China Textile City Sports Centre Gymnasium, Senin (25/9) sore.

Indonesia meraih set pertama dengan keunggulan 25-22. Dalam pertandingan selama 26 menit itu Agil Angga Anggara menjadi bintang dengan raihan tujuh poin, disusul Fahri Septian Putratama dan Hernanda Zulfi yang sama-sama meraih empat poin.

Di set kedua dan ketiga permainan Indonesia menurun. Hal itu dimanfaatkan Kazakhstan untuk berbalik unggul 2-1. Kazakhstan berhasil merebut kemenangan 26-24 dan 25-22 di set kedua dan ketiga.

Timnas Voli Indonesia tidak mengulangi kesalahan di dua set terakhir. Meski mendapat perlawanan sengit, tim asuhan Jeff Jiang Jie itu merebut set keempat dengan 25-16 untuk menyamakan kedudukan 2-2.

Di set penentuan lagi-lagi permainan Indonesia sempat menurun. Kazakhstan yang dua kali dikalahkan Indonesia sepanjang 2023, mampu unggul hingga 10-8 dan kemudian 12-10.

Poin dari Muhammad Malizi dan Farhan Halim berhasil menyamakan kedudukan 12-12. Total lima poin beruntun diraih Indonesia untuk membalikkan keadaan sekaligus menang 15-12 di set terakhir.

Tiga poin terakhir Indonesia berkat block point dan Amin Kurnia Sandy Akbar dan Malizi, serta smes dari Farhan Halim. Timnas Voli Indonesia pun menang dramatis 3-2 atas Kazakhstan dalam duel 2 jam dan 15 menit.

Kemenangan atas Kazakhstan membuat Timnas Voli Indonesia melaju ke perebutan peringkat ketujuh Asian Games 2023, Selasa (26/9). Indonesia akan menghadapi pemenang antara Thailand vs Korea Selatan.
