New Delhi, September 2023 – Menteri Perdagangan RI Zulkifli Hasan mengatakan, Pemerintah
Indonesia mengapresiasi kerja sama dan investasi Prancis di Indonesia. Demikian disampaikan
Mendag Zulkifli Hasan setelah mendampingi Presiden RI Joko Widodo dalam pertemuan dengan
Presiden Prancis Emmanuel Macron yang berlangsung di sela-sela rangkaian Konferensi Tingkat
Tinggi (KTT) G20 pada 9—10 September 2023 di New Delhi, India.
“Dalam pertemuan dibahas rencana dan komitmen Prancis, termasuk terkait investasi di IKN dan
proyek transisi energi. Indonesia mengharapkan rencana tersebut segera direalisasikan,” ujar
Mendag Zulkfili Hasan.
Pada bulan Juni 2023, Duta Besar Prancis untuk Indonesia beserta delegasi bisnis Prancis telah
mengunjungi Kawasan IKN dan menghasilkan 4 Letter of Intent (LoI) untuk mendukung
pembangunan IKN.
Indonesia juga memanfaatkan kesempatan tersebut untuk meminta dukungan Prancis dalam
proses pendaftaran Indonesia menjadi bagian dari Organisasi Kerja Sama dan Pembangunan
Ekonomi (OECD). Presiden Jokowi mengungkapkan hal tersebut merupakan langkah Indonesia
untuk menjadi negara maju.
Pada periode Januari—Juli 2023, total perdagangan Indonesia-Prancis sebesar USD 1,55 miliar.
Dari nilai tersebut, ekspor Indonesia ke Prancis sebesar USD 547 juta dan impor Indonesia dari
Prancis sebesar USD 999 juta. Total perdagangan Januari—Juli 2023 naik 10,74 persen
dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun 2022 yang sebesar USD 1,40 miliar.
Produk ekspor Indonesia ke Prancis adalah trafo listrik, bagian dan aksesoris kendaraan peralatan
listrik untuk mengganti atau memproteksi sirkuit listrik, gas minyak bumi dan gas lainnya, serta
minyak sawit dan fraksinya. Sedangkan, impor Indonesia dari Prancis yaitu parfum, protein whey
dan produk lainnya yang terdiri atas susu, barang yang dipakai saat bepergian, vaksin untuk
manusia dan hewan, serta obat-obatan.
